Going Green

We are lucky enough to live in one of the most beautiful parts of England and wish to pass this great legacy on to future generations. As a business we have made a commitment to ensure this happens.

As guests you benefit, because we believe in using delicious local produce where possible and this adds to your overall Devon experience complimented further with fair-trade products. Whenever possible we use independent local trades people and give our support to local community groups including the Devon Wildlife Trust.

None of the measures we have in place should compromise the quality, comfort or safety of the service you receive. In fact they enhance your experience and give peace of mind that you are contributing to taking a responsible attitude towards 'green issues.' Practical measures include guest towel agreements, promoting walking and public transport and encouraging our guests to embrace sustainable tourism.' We monitor and aim to reduce our energy and water consumption and use re-cyclable and eco-friendly products (including toilet paper!).
