Following a visit from the Visit England assessor this week, I am pleased to say The Garway has retained its Four Star Gold rating and has scored impressively in all the categories. Whilst I can't publish the whole report here there are a few comments that are worth mentioning:
Hospitality & Friendliness
It was noted that the inspector gained an excellent first impression. She mentioned that Stephen sat down and chatted with me over tea on arrival. He isvery attentive to all the guests, and all the guests were conversed with at breakfast.
Cleanliness
Excellent levels of cleanliness were noted throughout the house.High and lower levels were dust free and the flooring was immaculate. Bathroom sanitary warewas gleaming.It is very evident that a very thorough cleaning schedule is completed throughout.
Breakfasts
There were very complimentary comments about the Breakfasts: A wide range of starters which included fresh fruit salad, range of fruit yoghurts, cereals, pastries and home made cakes. The fruit salad has an excellent range of fruit and delicious yoghurt. The eggs were cooked very well and the yokes were of a good colour and runny. The sauce was rich and complimented the eggs with crispy bacon. There was an excellent range of hot alternatives for the guests to choose. from.
