After a fun-filled weekend it is great to be able to reflect on the massive success of this year's Torbay Pride held on June 13th. The march was a really colourful affair with the most massive rainbow flag being carried along the sea front, and the Abbey Lawn was packed with displays, wonderful food and drink stalls, and representatives from many different local community groups and charities. The show on stage was fabulous with a wide variety of different acts and the crowd was really enjoying the music, the  inclusive atmosphere and the celebration of the local LGBT+ community.

At The Garway all six rooms were booked over the weekend, and I was very pleased to be able to host the wonderful Ruby Slippers (aka Jordan Thomas Bateman), Boy Gorgeous (aka Paul Sutton with David) and David from Pride Pics who produced the most wonderful collage of images which you can see on The Torbay Pride facebook page. We all had a real blast, and I am so pleased and proud that Torquay is able to host such a great celebration of diversity and understanding. Looking forward to next year and another chance to have such fun.
